Improved performance for GitHub Actions workflows page
Source: GitHub Actions Blog
Rendering of Large Workflows
GitHub Actions workflow pages now successfully render workflows that contain more than 300 jobs.
The new implementation uses lazy loading, allowing the page to handle large workflows smoothly without performance degradation.
Job‑Status Filtering
You can now filter jobs on the workflow page by their status. This lets you:
- View only failed jobs
- View jobs that are in progress
The filter makes it easier to focus on the jobs that need attention.
Impact for Teams
These improvements benefit teams that run:
- Complex workflows with extensive job matrices
- Large monorepo setups
By rendering large numbers of jobs efficiently and providing status‑based filtering, teams can more quickly assess and troubleshoot their workflow runs.
