Cover image for I built an app that helps couples decide what to watch together

My girlfriend and I had the same argument every Friday night:

“What do you want to watch?”
“I don’t know, what do YOU want to watch?”

So I built Logflix.

What it does

  • Both of you swipe on movies and series — yes or no.
  • When you both swipe yes on the same title, it’s a match.
  • No more endless scrolling. No more compromises where nobody’s actually happy.

How it works

  1. Share a link or scan a QR code.
  2. Both swipe independently on your own phones.
  3. A match appears live on screen when you both like the same title.
  4. Works across Netflix, HBO, Disney+ and more.
  5. No account needed.

Tech stack

  • Next.js
  • Supabase
  • Vercel

Why I built it

Dead simple. No setup maze. You and your partner swipe, match, watch.

🎁 New users get 7 days free Premium after their first match — no credit card needed.

Live and free:

Would love feedback — especially if you have a partner who can never decide 😄
