How to preorder Apples new M5 MacBook Airs

Apple has lightly refreshed its MacBook Air with the M5 chip, and it will be available for preorder starting tomorrow (March 4) ahead of its formal launch on March 11. This story will be updated with preorder listings from the Apple Store and its retail partners as soon as they’re live.
Pricing and Storage
- 13‑inch model: starting at $1,099 (or $999 with Apple’s education discount)
- 15‑inch model: starting at $1,299 (or $1,199 with education discount)
The base M5 MacBook Airs come with 512 GB of storage—double the default size of the previous M4 generation. The 256 GB option is no longer offered. Storage can be configured up to 4 TB, up from a 2 TB maximum on the M4 models.
