Honor brings its first AI‑powered humanoid robot to Mobile World Congress
We knew that Honor was set to showcase its oddball Robot Phone at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. What we didn’t expect is that the company will also debut its first‑ever AI‑powered humanoid robot at the show.
Announcement and teaser
Honor announced the news on Monday via a teaser video on X, featuring both the Robot Phone, its robotic camera, and the unnamed humanoid robot. The company captioned the post:
“Something revolutionary is about to step out of the shadows. We’ve combined cutting‑edge robotics with the ultimate mobile experience. The result? Something you have to see to believe.”
Design and appearance
The video offers a clear glimpse of the robot: a matte‑black humanoid with a glass face, a light bar where its eyes should be, and a single camera on its forehead. An additional image supplied by Honor shows the robot from the side.

Honor shared details with Bloomberg, describing the device as a “service robot” capable of assisting with shopping and other tasks. Aside from this, information is limited, though the robot is expected to integrate with Honor’s Robot Phone, which will also be displayed in Barcelona.
Upcoming coverage
Mashable will be on the ground in Barcelona to cover Honor’s event, which kicks off at 7 a.m. ET on March 1, 2026. Stay tuned for further updates on the company’s rapidly expanding robotics portfolio.
