Hetzner has seen a massive influx of new users driven by a growing trend of businesses and developers migrating to European tech alternatives. This unprecedented demand has challenged their capacity; over the past several months the company has struggled to keep pace, resulting in servers frequently being completely sold out. Additionally, worldwide hardware and RAM prices have increased in the past year, which also contributes to the price hike.

Consequently, Hetzner has announced a substantial 36 % price increase for their Cloud VPS offerings.
