It lets you wirelessly link controllers to the Switch 2 that would otherwise be unsupported, such as the Sony DualSense (with rumble and motion controls), Microsoft’s latest Xbox gamepads, and more. You can plug the adapter into the Switch 2’s dock or use a USB‑A‑to‑USB‑C adapter to connect it directly to the console.
