Google's Circle to Search can now identify multiple objects in an image

Overview
Google has updated its Circle to Search feature, which lets you perform a Google Search from almost anywhere on your phone by tapping and holding the home button, then circling the passage or image you want to learn more about.
New capabilities
Multiple object identification
Previously limited to a single object, Circle to Search now uses Gemini 3 to scan and identify multiple objects in an image simultaneously. This is especially useful for shopping: you can circle an entire person in a photo, and the tool will try to find matches for each item they’re wearing, including shoes and accessories.
Virtual try‑on integration
Google has embedded its virtual try‑on feature directly inside Circle to Search, making it easier to see how identified clothing items might look on you.
Relationship reasoning
Building on the AI Mode search technique, Circle to Search can now reason about the relationships between objects in an image. For example, if you circle a photo of a coral reef, the tool can identify the different fish species shown and explain how they coexist.
Availability
The enhanced Circle to Search will debut on Galaxy S26 and Pixel 10 phones, with a broader rollout to additional Android devices planned soon.
