Google will fix an Android XR bug leaving Galaxy headsets ‘functionally useless’
Source: 9to5Google

An ongoing bug with Android XR has left Samsung’s Galaxy XR headsets in rough shape, with serious performance issues that Google is aware of and working to fix.
Reports from Samsung Galaxy XR owners on Reddit have pinpointed severe performance problems that some users describe as “functionally useless.” Frame rates within apps and the general UI slow to a crawl, and the headset can freeze entirely.
Users have noticed that the problem is related to a memory leak, as discussed in a comment on r/AndroidXR.

The team is fully aware of this issue and we have made getting a patch out to everyone our absolute top priority. I will post an update as soon as we have a concrete timeline for the fix. Thanks for your patience while we get this sorted out.
