Google Home gets a new outdoor camera from Walmart that’s just $35

Quietly launched this week, Walmart is adding its third camera to the Google Home “Gemini built‑in” program: the Walmart Onn Outdoor Camera Plug‑in, priced at $35.

The camera follows last year’s indoor camera and wired doorbell, which sold for around $23 and $45 respectively (sometimes much less). It features a simple design with a posable arm, full‑color night vision, built‑in spotlights, and a weather‑proof cable that can be attached to a longer USB‑C cable—similar to some Wyze outdoor cameras.

Features

• 1080p video, integrated directly with the Google Home app.
• Cloud storage via Google Home Premium (no local storage).
• With a Home Premium subscription you get:
  • Cloud‑based event and recording history.
  • Gemini‑powered video descriptions.
  • Enhanced camera event automations.

Without a subscription, the camera provides only 3 hours of “snapshot” history, which is automatically deleted.
