VR Headset 90 fps Streaming
NVIDIA announced that, beginning March 19, GeForce Now will support 90 fps streaming on compatible VR headsets such as the Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest for Ultimate members (up from 60 fps). This upgrade aims to improve smoothness, responsiveness, and realism in virtual‑reality gaming.
In‑App Labels and Account Linking
Soon, the GeForce Now app will display labels on game artwork indicating which titles are available through linked subscription services. After connecting an Xbox or Ubisoft account, users will see clear indicators of accessible games. NVIDIA is also adding GOG to the list of supported account‑linking services, expanding beyond the previously announced Gaijin integration.
Install‑to‑Play Library Expansion
The service is adding several Xbox titles to its Install‑to‑Play library, including Brutal Legend (Double Fine Productions) and Contrast (Compulsion Games). Additionally, new cloud‑available games will launch on GeForce Now, such as Control Resonant (Remedy) and Samson: A Tyndalston Story (Liquid Swords).
Service Overview
GeForce Now remains a leading cloud‑gaming platform, now powered by GeForce RTX 5080 servers that deliver performance “indistinguishable from a powerful rig,” according to Engadget. The service is available on Windows and macOS PCs, NVIDIA Shield, Android TV, smartphones, Fire TV sticks, and various other devices.
