Overview
Following teasers and leaks, DJI has officially announced its new entry‑level Lito 1 and Lito X1 drones. Both models weigh less than 249 g, which means they are exempt from registration requirements in many countries.
Pricing
- Lito 1 – €339 (≈ $397)
- Lito X1 – €419 (≈ $490)
These prices are for the European market; neither drone is currently available in the United States.
Features
- Weight: < 249 g (no mandatory registration)
- Obstacle avoidance: The Lito X1 offers more advanced obstacle‑avoidance sensors than the Lito 1.
- Camera: The Lito X1 includes a higher‑resolution camera compared with the Lito 1.
Controller Compatibility
Both drones ship with DJI’s screenless RC‑N3 controller, which uses a smartphone as the display. Unlike the DJI Neo, you cannot pilot the Lito drones directly from the phone screen.
The Lito 1 and Lito X1 are also compatible with other DJI controllers, such as the RC 2, which is included with the package.
