Discord's Nitro subscription now includes a slightly nerfed Xbox Game Pass

Overview
Discord is expanding its Nitro program with new perks for subscribers. One of the highlights is a “starter edition” of Xbox Game Pass, which is similar to the Essential tier of the service. This addition brings the total number of Game Pass versions to five.
Xbox Game Pass Starter Edition
- Game library: Access to more than 50 console and PC games, including Fallout 4, Stardew Valley, DayZ, Deep Rock Galactic, Overcooked 2, and Grounded.
- Cloud gaming: 10 hours of cloud gaming per month (the Essential tier offers unlimited cloud gaming).
- Additional benefits: Ability to stream certain games from your Xbox library and earn Xbox rewards.
Availability
Nitro subscribers who do not already have an Xbox Game Pass can opt into the starter edition. It is currently available in the following regions:
Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States.
Nitro Rewards Program
- Pricing: Nitro remains at $10 per month or $100 per year.
- Eligibility: Only Nitro (standard) subscribers qualify; Nitro Basic and Nitro Classic tiers are excluded.
- Rollout: Perks are being released gradually over the next several weeks, marking the 10th anniversary of Nitro.

Microsoft plans to extend Discord Nitro benefits to Game Pass subscribers starting later in May. The upcoming perks include:
