Diablo II: Resurrected is adding warlock as a brand new player class

Blizzard announced today that it is introducing the Warlock as a playable character to Diablo II: Resurrected. This marks the first new class in 25 years for the remaster of the original RPG.
Reign of the Warlock DLC
- Available now for $25.
- Adds the Warlock class, new items, and a new pinnacle boss encounter against the Colossal Ancients.
- For players who don’t own the base game, the Infernal Edition of D2R (including the new content) is priced at $40.
Impact on Diablo II: Resurrected
When D2R launched in 2021, it was praised for its faithful recreation of the classic game. Adding a whole new player class is a significant boost for long‑time fans who have continued playing the title.
Availability in Other Diablo Titles
- The Warlock will also appear in Diablo IV as part of the upcoming Lord of Hatred expansion (expected April).
- It will be added to Diablo Immortal as well.
