Day 1290 : Order

Liner notes
Professional
- Got the final sample application I’ve been working on for a new feature of the documentation site. Updated the tool that generates the zip file, uploaded it to a GitHub repo, and created a GitHub Action that processes the zip to build the application, which can be worked on and deployed via GitHub Codespaces. Sent the link to the team so they can incorporate it into their work.
- Responded to a community question, wished everyone Happy Holidays in the Slack channels, and called it a day.
Personal
- Refactored my current web application. With the help of Google’s Antigravity, I converted it to an Astro app using Firebase and Stripe. I just need to add environment variables so it saves files to Firebase Storage and creates a Stripe Checkout form for testing.
- Planning to add a few more features to ensure compatibility with dashboards built with Google Gemini, then deploy for testing.
- Worked on tracks for the radio show and started sketching a 3D model I want to print next year.
First order of business today is to put together the starter tracks for the radio show and create the social media posts. After that, I’ll either flesh out the 3D model idea in Tinkercad or continue preparing the web applications for deployment. I plan to focus on the web apps so they can be tested by others, which may take time to get feedback, especially over the holiday season.
I’m taking off work for about two weeks until January 5 2026, so there will be no blog posts until then. I’ll still host the radio show on Saturdays at and the study sessions on Sundays at .
If you’re reading this, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year! Looking forward to what the future holds.
Have a great night!
peace piece
