Saturday

Before heading to the station, I did some coding on my current side project. Made some pretty good progress and then it was time to head out. Made it to the station, set up my equipment, did the radio show and had a good time as usual. The recording of this week’s show is at .

Sunday

Got quite a few things done over at but not a lot with my coding side project.

Professional

Had a pretty good day to start the week. Caught up with team members and had a meeting with my manager. I walked them through the application I worked on that involved spinning up GitHub Codespaces for interactive tutorials. Good news: it worked with no problems. I received helpful feedback on improvements and spent some time prepping for the upcoming end‑of‑year review—career‑climbing season, haha. I also completed some training that was due this week.

Personal

I’ve been putting a lot of work into this side project. The orders section of the client’s dashboard is now functional: after a successful Stripe payment, the response is saved to the database and the order appears on the orders page. Clicking an order opens a modal with order details, showing items in one tab and tracking information in another. It’s coming together, and I need to finish it so I can upload product photos and get the client ready for the Christmas season. I also took steps to start a new vinyl‑project collaboration.

Fingers crossed that I can get the orders working on the admin dashboard tonight. The main task is to list orders and enable editing/updating them. I may need to tweak the client’s dashboard, but hopefully not much. After that, I’ll have dinner and get back to work.

Have a great night!
peace piece
