Cricut Explore 5
Cricut has announced a new version of its popular cutting machine, the Explore 5, which is 30 percent more compact than the Explore 4 that launched a year ago. Despite being up to an inch smaller in some dimensions, the Explore 5 can still cut over 100 different materials—including cardstock and vinyl—up to 12 inches wide.

- Materials included: Enough for up to 30 projects (bundles with additional tools and materials are also offered)
- Tools compatibility: Six tools, including various cutting blades
- Pen holder: Upgraded snap‑in design for improved writing and drawing

Cricut Joy 2
The Cricut Joy 2 is an even smaller alternative, aimed at crafters with limited space. It adds the ability to precisely slice pre‑printed materials, making it easier to start an Etsy sticker shop.
