Drop Store Closure
The Drop store, acquired by gaming‑gear giant Corsair in 2023, has long been a haven for mechanical‑keyboard enthusiasts and audiophiles seeking hard‑to‑find gear—often at surprisingly good prices. The company announced that it will cease all sales after March 25th at 11:59 PM PT. This date also marks the final deadline to redeem Drop Rewards.
Post‑Closure Access
- After March 31st, the site will remain accessible for a limited time, allowing users to view their order history.
- All retail functionality will be transferred to Corsair’s platform.
Transition Plans
According to a blog post on Drop’s site, the brand will evolve into a “hub to highlight collaborations across our brands,” featuring partnerships such as The Lord of the Rings, Cyberpunk 2077, and Fallout Nuka‑Cola (among others).
