Claude Code just dropped Remote Control — continue your terminal session from your phone

Anthropic quietly shipped a new Claude Code feature called Remote Control, currently rolling out to Max plan users as a research preview.

The concept is dead simple: spin up a Claude Code session in your local terminal, then pick it up on your phone and keep going — same session, no context lost.

To try it, just type /remote-control in your Claude Code session.

What I’m curious about

• How’s the latency on mobile?
• Is editing code actually usable on a small screen?
• Does the session state persist reliably if you switch apps?
• Anyone on Max already tried this? I’d love to hear how the mobile experience holds up in practice before I upgrade.
