Chipolo Find Hub battery life doubles

Chipolo wallet

Chipolo has a big update on its Find Hub trackers for Android: the battery life rating has doubled. In a recent post, Chipolo announced that both the Chipolo Loop and Chipolo Card now have a 1‑year battery life rating, up from the previously estimated 6 months. The original estimate was based on conservative energy‑consumption simulations; after extensive real‑world testing, the company can now confidently claim up to a year of use on a single charge, and in some cases even longer.

The Chipolo Pop already promised a 1‑year battery life.

New wallet collaboration

Chipolo’s Card can now be purchased inside a new slim leather wallet created in collaboration with Secrid. The wallet features:

  • A pop‑up card design with a dedicated pocket for the Chipolo Card, including a cut‑out for the tracker’s speaker.
  • A spot on the leather portion to tap the Card’s button; a double‑press triggers an alert on your phone to help locate the device.
  • Space for cash when unfolded.
  • Available in black (available today — Buy on Amazon) and blue (shipping in June).
  • Priced at $140.
