  • Technical Agent – API questions, integrations, code examples

Each sub‑agent has a focused system prompt and toolset, making it far more reliable.

Escalation and Handoff

AI should know when it’s out of its depth. Build escalation triggers:

  • Sentiment detection (e.g., angry customer → human)
  • Confidence thresholds (low certainty → human)
  • Explicit requests (“I want to talk to a person”)

The handoff must include the full conversation context—no one wants to repeat themselves.

Technical Stack

  • LLMs: Claude 3.5 Sonnet for reasoning, GPT‑4o for speed
  • Framework: Initially LangChain, later migrated to custom orchestration
  • Memory: Redis for session state, PostgreSQL for persistent context
