Beehiiv is expanding beyond newsletters with a suite of new creator tools, including webinars, AI‑powered podcast analytics, metered paywalls, and paid trials.

Webinar Hosting

Creators can now host live events for up to 10,000 attendees directly inside Beehiiv. The feature supports video, screen sharing, and chat, and allows creators to:

  • Charge for access in multiple currencies
  • Offer free events to grow their audience

This opens up new use cases such as educational workshops, product demos, and community‑building sessions.

Monetization Tools

Metered Paywalls

  • Creators choose how many free posts to offer before prompting for a subscription (e.g., 1 post, 10 posts).
  • Reset periods can be set to daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or never.
  • Flexible trial configurations: set length, price, and billing cycle (e.g., $1 for 30 days or $5/month for 3 months).

Podcast Support & AI Analytics

Beehiiv recently added native podcast hosting, handling hosting, distribution, and monetization. Adoption metrics:

  • 50 % of existing users have migrated their podcasts to Beehiiv.
  • 25 % have launched brand‑new podcasts on the platform.

The new AI analytics let creators ask natural‑language questions about audience data—such as episode performance or listener geography—and receive instant insights without manual dashboard navigation. Users must opt‑in and can connect AI models like Claude and ChatGPT.
