Audible syncs ebook reading and audiobook listening to keep you focused

Immersion Reading Feature

On Wednesday, Audible launched a new Immersion Reading feature that lets users read along with the ebook version while listening to the audiobook. In the Audible app, tapping the Read & Listen button above a book’s cover art displays the text version of the audio. As the audio plays, the text is highlighted in sync.

The ability to read and listen simultaneously may improve reading comprehension for those who struggle to stay focused and can also aid language learners.
