Apple recently announced the iPhone 17e, among other new products, during its March event. With a six‑core A19 chip, MagSafe support, and 256 GB of storage, it’s a significant step up from Apple’s previous entry‑level phone.
If you preorder at AT&T, you can snag the iPhone 17e for just $6 per month with any Unlimited mobile plan.

The 6.1‑inch display uses Apple’s Super Retina XDR OLED panel to deliver enhanced color, contrast, and detail while streaming video, taking photos, or making video calls. With HDR processing, the iPhone 17e handles both 4K and 1080p streaming easily, and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits ensures good visibility in bright rooms and outdoors.

Built with the refreshed A19 chip, the iPhone 17e offers faster processing for better multitasking, as well as hardware‑accelerated ray tracing for streaming and mobile gaming. It’s available with either 256 GB or 512 GB of internal storage.
Photographers can take advantage of the 48 MP Fusion camera system for high‑resolution images and video with built‑in image stabilization. Support for both MagSafe and Qi2 wireless charging lets you top up faster than the iPhone 16e.

Both new and existing AT&T customers can take advantage of this deal by preordering the iPhone 17e on the website, where the discount is automatically applied to the cart. The discount is issued as 36 monthly credits to your bill and may take several billing cycles to appear. If you cancel your account or change from an Unlimited mobile plan before the 36 credits are applied, AT&T reserves the right to charge you the full remaining retail price for the smartphone.
How I rated this deal
The iPhone 17e is already a fairly affordable smartphone from the brand that put smartphones on the map, but snagging one for less than $500 is even better. With just as many features as its more premium cousins, you can enjoy all your favorite apps and stay in touch with family and friends without the matching price tag. This makes it a great choice for upgrading on the cheap or as a first smartphone for older kids and teens. That’s why I gave this deal a 5/5 Editor’s deal rating.
