Apple’s mystery March experience may involve multi-day announcements

Overview
Apple is rumored to have several major product reveals slated for early March, but they may not be presented in a traditional livestream. Instead of a single filmed production like WWDC or the annual iPhone launch, the “special experience” Apple is hosting on March 4 could take a different approach.
Event Format
Apple is holding media events in New York City, London, and Shanghai around this time. However, a few prominent tech journalists think the actual product launches will be announced via press releases rather than a live broadcast.
John Gruber wrote on Daring Fireball that Apple might release one new product (or product line) each day leading up to the March 4 experience.
“What strikes me is that March 4 — the ‘experience’ day — is a Wednesday. So my spitball guess is that they announce all these products via Newsroom press releases, day‑by‑day,” Gruber said. “Like, say, the iPhone 17e on Monday, new iPad(s) on Tuesday, and new MacBooks on Wednesday. And then the ‘experience’ will be a hands‑on thing with in‑person demos.”
Mark Gurman of Bloomberg echoed this assessment in a post on X, noting that Apple is likely to “trickle out the news over the course of a few days.”
Potential Product Announcements
While the exact lineup is still uncertain, recent reporting points to a handful of likely updates:
- iPhone 17e – expected to launch early in the week.
- New iPad models – possibly announced on the following day.
- New MacBook models – likely revealed on the day of the March 4 experience.
These refreshes may be relatively incremental, focusing on updated processors and minor enhancements, which could explain why Apple is opting for a low‑key rollout rather than a large‑scale production.
