New AI‑Powered Features

On‑Device Speech Recognition for Uncaptioned Videos

Apple is adding the ability to generate captions for uncaptioned videos using on‑device speech recognition. This feature will be available across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro.

Enhanced VoiceOver Image Explorer (Coming Later This Year)

Later this year, AI will be used to provide more detailed descriptions in VoiceOver’s Image Explorer. Apple notes that these AI‑generated details should not be solely relied upon for critical information.
