Propeller One-Way Night Coach is Apple TV’s next movie, premiering later this month. The first trailer has just been released.

Propeller One-Way Night Coach is based on John Travolta’s 1997 book

Apple TV’s next original film arrives on Friday, May 29 on Apple TV, following an appearance at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. The movie is written, directed, narrated, and produced by John Travolta, based on his book of the same name. Travolta also appears briefly in the trailer.

Apple’s official description (followed by the trailer):

Set in the golden age of aviation, a young airplane enthusiast, Jeff (played by newcomer Clark Shotwell), and his mother (Kelly Eviston‑Quinnett) set off on a one‑way cross‑country odyssey to Hollywood, turning a simple flight into the trip of a lifetime. Between airline meals, charming flight attendants (Ella Bleu Travolta and Olga Hoffmann), unexpected stopovers, larger‑than‑life passengers, and a thrilling glimpse at first class, the journey unfolds in magical and unexpected moments, charting the course for the boy’s future.

Propeller One-Way Night Coach is billed as a “film for all ages,” and the trailer reflects that tone.
