Apple Maps adds in-depth F1 experience for Miami Grand Prix

Overview
The first F1 Grand Prix in the United States of the 2026 season takes place on May 3 in Miami. Ahead of the event, Apple is rolling out a detailed Apple Maps experience with immersive 3D landmarks, racetrack details, navigation information, and more.
This update continues the Apple Maps and F1 crossover that began with the Qatar Airways Australian Grand Prix earlier in the year. Apple previously announced plans to add similar experiences for additional races throughout the season.
New Miami F1 Grand Prix Experience
The Miami F1 Grand Prix experience is now live in Apple Maps. Highlights include:
- 3D landmarks such as grandstands, The Marina, the finish line, and a fully rendered Pit Building with race cars.
- Track details showing curb striping and turn information.

Guides for Attendees
Apple Maps now offers several guides to help fans attending the race in person:

In‑Person Navigation
For on‑site visitors, Apple Maps displays extensive local navigation details for the Miami International Autodrome, including:

- Bridges, restrooms, and water stations
- Additional points of interest around the circuit
Streaming
Starting this year, Apple TV subscribers can stream all F1 races at no extra charge.
