Apple has agreed to pay $250 million to settle a class‑action lawsuit that accused the company of misleading customers about the availability of its Apple Intelligence features.

Lawsuit Background

The lawsuit, filed in 2025, alleged that Apple’s advertising created a “clear and reasonable consumer expectation” that Apple Intelligence features would be available at the launch of the iPhone 16. It further claimed that Apple’s products “offered a significantly limited or entirely absent version …” of those AI capabilities.
