Voice mode rollout
Anthropic has begun a gradual rollout of voice mode for Claude Code. The feature is currently live for roughly 5 % of users and will expand over the coming weeks. Users with access will see a note on the welcome screen and can toggle voice mode with the /voice command.

Voice mode is available at no extra cost and will be offered to Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans as the rollout progresses.
Using voice mode
To activate voice input in Claude Code:
- Hold the space bar to start speaking.
- Release the space bar to send the recorded input.
The spoken input is then processed just like typed text.
