에이직랜드는 12일 대구 산격청사에서 대구광역시·유관기관·유망 팹리스 기업들과 국산 AI 반도체 실증 및 상용화를 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이번 협약은 국내 팹리스 기업이 설계한 AI 반도체를 대구의 로봇·모빌리티 분야 수요처와 연계해 기획·설계·실증·상용화 전 과정을 지원함으로써 시장 경쟁력을 확보하는 데 목적이 있다.

에이직랜드는 국내 유일의 TSMC VCA 파트너로, 첨단 공정 설계 역량과 차세대 패키징‑칩렛 기술을 적용해 지역 수요 기업에 최적화된 설계를 지원한다. 또한 MPW 서비스, 설계 IP 검증, 실증 과정의 기술 이슈 해결 등 전반에 참여해 국산 AI 반도체 상용화의 가교 역할을 수행한다.

이들 기관은 수요기업 발굴·실증 매칭·기술 자문·인력 양성 등 전 주기 산학연 협력 체계를 공동으로 추진한다.

Aegic Land announced on the 12th that it signed a business agreement with Daegu Metropolitan City, related organizations, and promising fabless companies at the Daegu Industrial Complex for the verification and commercialization of domestically produced AI semiconductors.

The agreement aims to secure market competitiveness by supporting the entire process—planning, design, verification, and commercialization—of AI semiconductors designed by domestic fabless firms, linking them with demand sources in Daegu’s key robotics and mobility industries.

Roles under the agreement

• Daegu City – creates a collaborative environment for demonstration and provides policy support.
• Participating companies – conduct customized AI‑semiconductor demonstrations for demand companies, connect them with industrial sites, and secure reference projects.

As Korea’s only TSMC VCA partner, Aegic Land will apply its advanced process‑design capabilities and next‑generation packaging‑chiplet technology to support semiconductor designs optimized for local demand. It will also provide MPW service support, design‑IP verification, and resolve technical issues during validation, acting as a bridge for the commercialization of domestic AI semiconductors.
