Amazon MGM Studios has released the final trailer for its forthcoming space odyssey Project Hail Mary, based on Andy Weir’s bestselling 2021 novel Project Hail Mary.

Premise

Science teacher Ryland Grace (Ryan Gosling) awakens on a spaceship light‑years from Earth with no memory of who he is or how he got there. As his recollection returns, he discovers his mission: solve the mystery of a substance causing the sun to die out. He must use his scientific knowledge and unconventional ideas to prevent Earth’s extinction—though an unexpected friendship may mean he doesn’t have to do it alone.
