자동차 부품 업계가 전동화 전환 속도를 높이면서 기존 내연기관 중심 사업 구조를 미래 모빌리티와 로봇 분야로 확장하려는 움직임도 빨라지고 있다. 생산 인프라 확대와 함께 전동화·로보틱스 기반 신사업 투자 역시 활기를 띄고 있다.

글로벌 모빌리티 부품 기업 네오오토는 15일 공시를 통해 올해 1분기 매출 604억원, 영업이익 37억원을 기록했다. 전년 동기 대비 매출은 5.5%, 영업이익은 7.8% 증가하면서 성장세를 이어가고 있다.

회사 측은 기존 내연기관 부품의 안정적인 공급 기반 위에 하이브리드(HEV)와 전기차(EV)용 핵심 부품 공급이 확대되며 실적 성장으로 이어졌다고 설명했다.

전동화 생산기지 구축… 로보틱스 조직도 신설

네오오토는 미래 모빌리티 시장 대응을 위해 생산 인프라 확대와 연구개발 역량 강화에도 속도를 내고 있다.

지난 2월에는 충남 예산 4공장 준공 승인을 완료했다. 회사는 해당 공장을 전동화 전용 생산기지로 운영하며 관련 부품 생산 역량을 확대할 계획이다.

연구 조직 개편도 함께 진행했다. 네오오토는 연구소 산하에 ‘로보틱스 팀’을 신설하고 로봇 구동 모듈 등 미래 핵심 기술 확보를 위한 연구개발을 강화하고 있다.

회사 측은 전동화 부품 사업과 로봇 기술 간 시너지를 기반으로 미래 모빌리티 사업 경쟁력을 확대한다는 전략이다.

네오오토 관계자는 “전동화 중심 포트폴리오 확대와 생산 역량 강화가 실질적인 성과로 이어지고 있다”며 “4공장과 로보틱스 전문 조직을 기반으로 미래 모빌리티 부품 수요 증가에 선제 대응할 계획”이라고 말했다.

Establishment of electrification production base… New robotics organization created

NeoAuto is also accelerating the expansion of its production infrastructure and the strengthening of its R&D capabilities to respond to the future mobility market.

Last February, the company completed the approval for the construction of its Plant 4 in Yesan, South Chungcheong Province. The company plans to operate the plant as a production base dedicated to electrification and expand its production capacity for related parts.

The company also reorganized its research structure. NeoAuto established a ‘Robotics Team’ under its research institute and is strengthening research and development to secure core future technologies, such as robot drive modules.

The company’s strategy is to expand its competitiveness in the future mobility business based on synergies between its electric vehicle components business and robot technology.

去る2月には忠南予算4工場竣工承認を完了した。同社は当該工場を電動化専用生産基地として運営し、関連部品の生産能力を拡大する計画だ。

研究組織の改編も一緒に進行した。ネオオトは研究所傘下に「ロボティクスチーム」を新設し、ロボット駆動モジュールなど未来核心技術確保のための研究開発を強化している。

同社側は、電動化部品事業とロボット技術間の相乗効果を基に、将来のモビリティ事業競争力を拡大するという戦略だ。

ネオオト関係者は「電動化中心ポートフォリオの拡大と生産能力の強化が実質的な成果につながっている」とし「4工場とロボティクス専門組織を基盤に、将来のモビリティ部品需要の増加に先制対応する計画」と話した。

Mise en place d’une base de production d’électrification… Création d’une nouvelle organisation de robotique

NeoAuto accélère également le développement de son infrastructure de production et le renforcement de ses capacités de R&D afin de répondre aux besoins du marché de la mobilité de demain.

En février dernier, la société a obtenu l’autorisation de construire son usine n° 4 à Yesan, dans la province de Chungcheong du Sud. Elle prévoit d’exploiter cette usine comme un site de production dédié à l’électrification et d’y accroître sa capacité de production de pièces détachées.

L’entreprise a également réorganisé sa structure de recherche. NeoAuto a créé une « équipe de robotique » au sein de son institut de recherche et renforce ses activités de recherche et développement afin de sécuriser les technologies clés de demain, telles que les modules de propulsion pour robots.

La stratégie de l’entreprise consiste à renforcer sa compétitivité dans le secteur de la mobilité du futur en s’appuyant sur les synergies entre son activité de composants pour véhicules électriques et sa technologie robotique.

« L’élargissement de notre gamme de produits axés sur l’électrification et le renforcement de nos capacités de production portent leurs fruits », a déclaré un responsable de NeoAuto. « Nous prévoyons de répondre de manière proactive à la demande croissante de composants pour la mobilité du futur grâce à notre quatrième usine et à notre organisation spécialisée en robotique. »
