글로벌 디지털자산 시장 변동성이 이어지면서 국내 가상자산 거래 플랫폼들의 실적도 조정 국면에 들어가는 분위기다. 거래량 감소와 투자 심리 위축 영향으로 주요 거래소들의 수익성 둔화가 이어지고 있다.

디지털자산 거래소 업비트를 운영하는 두나무는 15일 올해 1분기 연결 기준 매출 2346억원을 기록했다고 공시했다. 전년 동기 대비 54.6% 감소한 수치다.

영업이익은 880억원으로 지난해 같은 기간보다 77.8% 줄었으며, 당기순이익 역시 695억원으로 전년 동기 대비 78.3% 감소했다.

다만 전분기와 비교하면 수익성은 일부 개선됐다. 영업이익은 지난해 4분기 대비 3.6% 증가했고, 당기순이익은 34.4% 늘었다.

거래량 감소 영향… 투자자 보호 체계 강화

두나무는 이번 실적 감소 배경으로 글로벌 경기 둔화에 따른 디지털자산 시장 거래량 감소를 꼽았다.

최근 글로벌 가상자산 시장은 미국 금리 정책과 규제 환경 변화, 투자 심리 위축 등이 복합적으로 작용하며 거래 규모가 감소하는 흐름을 보이고 있다. 국내 거래소 역시 거래대금 감소 영향이 실적에 반영되고 있다는 분석이다.

두나무는 업비트를 중심으로 디지털자산 거래 서비스를 운영하고 있으며, 증권플러스 등 금융 플랫폼 사업도 함께 전개하고 있다.

회사는 지난해 시행된 ‘가상자산 이용자 보호 등에 관한 법률’에 맞춰 투자자 보호 체계와 내부 시스템 정비를 강화하고 있다고 설명했다. 특히 불공정 거래 방지와 시장 감시 체계 운영 등 건전한 거래 환경 조성에 집중하고 있다는 입장이다.

두나무는 증권별 소유자 수 500인 이상 외부감사 대상 법인에 포함되면서 지난 2022년부터 사업보고서와 분·반기 보고서를 의무 공시하고 있다.

Recently, the global virtual asset market has been showing a downward trend in trading volume due to a combination of factors, including U.S. interest rate policies, changes in the regulatory environment, and dampened investor sentiment. Analysis suggests that the impact of this decline in trading volume is also being reflected in the earnings of domestic exchanges.

Dunamu operates digital asset trading services centered on Upbit and is also developing financial platform businesses such as Securities Plus.

The company explained that it is strengthening its investor protection framework and overhauling its internal systems in accordance with the “Act on the Protection of Users, etc. of Virtual Assets” enacted last year. In particular, it stated that it is focusing on creating a sound trading environment by preventing unfair trading and operating a market surveillance system.

As Dunamu was included in the list of corporations subject to external audit with 500 or more shareholders per security, it has been mandatorily disclosing business reports and quarterly and semi-annual reports since 2022.

デジタル資産取引所のアップビットを運営する桃は、１５日、今年第１四半期の連結基準売上高２３４６億ウォンを記録したと公示した。前年同期比５４．６％減少した数値だ。

営業利益は８８０億ウォンで、昨年同期より７７．８％減少し、当期純利益も６９５億ウォンで前年同期比７８．３％減少した。

ただし、前四半期と比較すると収益性は一部改善された。営業利益は昨年第４四半期比３．６％増加し、当期純利益は３４．４％増えた。

取引量減少の影響…投資家保護体制の強化

両木は今回の実績減少の背景として、グローバル景気鈍化によるデジタル資産市場取引量の減少を挙げた。

最近、グローバル仮想資産市場は、米国金利政策と規制環境変化、投資心理萎縮などが複合的に作用し、取引規模が減少する流れを見せている。国内取引所も取引代金減少の影響が実績に反映されているという分析だ。

桃はアップビットを中心にデジタル資産取引サービスを運営しており、証券プラスなど金融プラットフォーム事業も共に展開している。

同社は昨年施行された「仮想資産利用者保護などに関する法律」に合わせて投資家保護体系と内部システム整備を強化していると説明した。特に不公正な取引防止や市場監視体系の運営など健全な取引環境の造成に集中しているという立場だ。
